Pine Essential Oil (Pinus sylvestris)
Pine Essential Oil has a refreshing, invigorating aroma. First
investigated by Hippocrates, the father of Western medicine, for its benefits to
the respiratory system, pine is used in massage for stressed muscles and joints.
It shares many of the same properties as Eucalyptus globulus, and the action of
both oils is enhanced when they are blended.*
Avoid oil adulterated with turpentine, a low-cost but potentially hazardous
filler. Most essential oils work best when blended
with each other. The right combination will enhance the effects and power of the
essential oils. For some basic "oil recipes", check out our Recipe page or visit

No Root Canal Treatment Needed!
"My husband's really bad toothache, which we tried to use Clove oil on,
established itself as a really bad root canal infection for which he was given a
prescription for antibiotic from his dentist. The tooth was wobbly and extremely
painful, he was meant to go back to get the work done 2 weeks later...the
prescription was never needed :).
At first we used veg caps with Thyme/Oregano and Clove, but as this didn't seem
to make any difference as well as using Thieves oil in any drinks he drank. So,
we changed it to Pine oil and it made a difference straight away...he drank it
in any drinks he had with some honey and had veg caps with Pine oil and Rosemary
and Myrrh. Within a week, the infection was fully gone to the amazement of his
dentist, who crunched up the prescription and put it into the bin."
"I have been diffusing pine and grapefruit and it has been very much lifting my
mood and my energy levels. The fruity top notes of the grapefruit go well with
the crisp clean pine scent, just wanted to recommend a wonderfully uplifting
blend!"
