Rosewood Essential Oil (Aniba rosaeodora)

to uplift feelings of despair. Rosewood essential oil has been researched for
its ability to support the body's natural defenses. * Its soothing and

Body Systems Affected: Skin
Uses: Rosewood essential oil may help with skin
elasticity and is soothing to the skin. It is recognized for its ability to
eliminate candida of the skin and to slow the aging process. It may also be
beneficial for cuts, nausea, tissue regeneration and wounds. Rosewood essential
oil is know to create a synergism with all other oils.
Historical Uses: The original site of
production of "bois de rose" (rosewood) was French Guiana in South America. The
demand for of the French for Rosewood Essential oil was so great that they
depleted the colony's rosewood forests... Even now, this tropical evergreen tree
is one of the trees that is extensively felled in the clearing of the South
American rainforests.
Properties: Anti-bacterial, anti-fungal,
anti-infectious, anti-parasitic and antiviral
Aromatherapy Effects: It is appeasing to the
mind, relaxing the body and creates a feeling of peace and gentleness.
Scent: Sweet, woody, floral aroma
How to use: Apply to
Vita Flex Points and directly on area of concern. Diffuse
Dietary Supplement Uses: FDA approved for use
as a food additive (FA) or flavoring agent (FL). Dilute 1 drop in 1 tsp of honey
or dilute in 4 oz. of beverage. Not for children under 6 yrs old. Use with
caution and greater dilution with children 6 yrs and older.
