Sandalwood Essential Oil  (Santalum album)
Sandalwood Essential Oil is high in sesquiterpenes and has been researched in Europe for its ability to oxygenate a part of the brain known as the pineal gland, the seat of our emotions. The pineal gland is responsible for releasing melatonin, which enhances deep sleep.
Sandalwood is similar to frankincense oil in supporting a healthy nervous and circulatory system. It was used traditionally for skin revitalization, yoga and meditation.*

Most essential oils work best when blended with each other. The right combination will enhance the effects and power of the essential oils. For some basic "oil recipes", check out our Recipe page or visit our Essential Oil Blends store for some outstanding "Ready-Blends", created by Young Living.

Sandalwood Testimonials

Skin Cancer
"I went to a dermatologist and was told after a biopsy that I had basal cell carcinoma, skin cancer, on my nose. I had it removed, stitches and all, and was not a pleasant experience."
About a year later another one came up. I applied Young Living's Sandalwood oil 2 times a day for 2 weeks. I canceled my doctors appointment for removal because it was gone and never came back. Love it."

No Scar
"I walked into a bull bar at the back of my son's car. I really bashed my shin bone, it was bleeding and throbbing. I tried an ice-pack and it made no difference. I placed one drop of my Sandalwood/Aloes oil and the pain had disappeared in about 10 seconds. I didn't put anything else on the shin since that drop of essential oil and I have had no pain. The scab fell off and has left no scar."

Burn Scar Disappeared
"I've been using sandalwood oil for a large burn on my hand. After a couple months the scar has just about faded completely."
