Spruce Essential Oil (Picea mariana)
Spruce Essential Oil is softer and sweeter in aroma than other evergreen oils.
It is refreshing, invigorating, and strengthening. It also has a long history of
use in the sauna, steam bath, and as an additive to baths or massage oils used
for sore muscles associated with strenuous exercise. It is supportive of the
respiratory and nervous systems.* Most essential oils work best when blended
with each other. The right combination will enhance the effects and power of the
essential oils. For some basic "oil recipes", check out our Recipe page or visit

Bone Cancer and Chemo
"A good friend of mine just went through a heart wrenching bout with multiple
myeloma, a cancer that attacks the bones.
He spent a year going through chemotherapy and radiation treatment with an
amazing attitude and humor despite the fear and physical stress this disease
faces one with.
The wonderful news was that he came through it all and has been given a full
remission status. Here is where this testimonial begins. This man is an
extremely stoic, tough, and humorous person, so when his wife let me know that
he was in terrible pain with the neuropathy in his feet that comes after
chemotherapy, I suggested the oil blend that is listed in the EODR for
neuropathy.
I ordered Geranium, Spruce, and for her and during a particularly painful time
she used the blend on his feet. The very next morning, unsolicited, he described
his pain as being half of what it had been for the last several months.
Actually, he said something like, 'I don't know what that voodoo stuff that
Julie gave you was, but my pain has been cut in half'. They continued using the
blend and over a few months his pain not only lessened, but the area that it
covered had shrunk as well.
He is now only using the blend on an as needed basis when the pain reoccurs.
When these oils bring relief to those you love, you truly understand how
important they are."
