Tangerine Essential Oil (Citrus reticulata)
Tangerine Essential Oil
is a calming essential oil with a sweet, tangy aroma similar to orange. It helps
with occasional nervous irritability. An excellent oil to help uplift the spirit
and bring about a sense of security, tangerine is also rich in the powerful
antioxidant d-limonene. * Most essential oils work best when blended
with each other. The right combination will enhance the effects and power of the

Body Systems Affected: Emotional Balance,

Uses: Tangerine essential oil may help to
dissolve cellulite, with circulation, constipation, diarrhea, digestive system
disorders, fat digestion, dizziness, fear, flatulence, gallbladder, insomnia,
intestinal spasms, irritability, tired and aching limbs, liver problems,
decongests the lymphatic system, obesity, parasites, sadness, stomach tonic,
smoothes stretch marks when blended with Lavender,
stress, swelling and alleviates water retention.
Properties: Anti-coagulant, anti-inflammatory,
laxative and sedative
Aromatherapy Effects: Tangerine essential oil
contains esters and aldehydes which are sedating and calming to the nervous
system. When diffused together with Marjoram, it can soothe emotions such as
grief, anger and shock.
Scent: Fresh, sweet and citrusy
How to use: Diffuse. Apply to
Vita Flex Points and directly on area of concern.
Dietary Supplement Uses: FDA approved for use
as a food additive (FA) or flavoring agent (FL). Dilute 1 drop in 1 tsp of honey
or dilute in 4 oz. of beverage. Not for children under 6 yrs old. Use with
caution and greater dilution with children 6 yrs and older.

Cell Carcinoma completely gone
"About 9 months ago my father was diagnosed with squamous cell carcinoma. I
mentioned that the oils might help, but he elected to go with the treatment his
dermatologist recommended, a cream called efudex.
After a couple of weeks he found that the cream caused extreme pain and
ulceration of the affected area - once the dermatologist saw the results of the
cream application, he recommended discontinuing the cream asap and doing surgery
to remove the cancer instead.
My father, in his '70's, was beside himself, and wanted to avoid surgery at all
costs. At that point i sent him a bottle of thyme, and suggested he apply it
diluted in olive oil - he readily applied it twice a day and within a couple of
weeks started to see healing of the site down to the point of a little
discoloration.
After a month we switched to tangerine oil - within a couple of weeks of
applying the tangerine even the discoloration had disappeared. His
dermatologist, on exam afterward, could not believe his eyes - biopsies
subsequently showed that the cancer was completely gone! My father is now a
great fan of Young Living and is using the products to help his congestive heart
failure as well!"
Autistic Child
"Our middle child, age 7, was diagnosed with Autism at around 24 months. We were
unable to get him to drink water in any way. He would actually gag from it. This
was very hard for us as the only thing he would drink AT ALL was juice. And very
limited flavors. We were worried about him getting to much sweet juice in his
diet.
Upon learning about essential oils we started adding Therapeutic Grade Tangerine
to his water. Just one or two drops. He LOVES it!! Now he can have the benefits
of water and the benefits of oils as well!! What a blessing! He also now will
use Orange oil as well...hoping to introduce Lemon Oil soon! But please only
ever ingest Therapeutic Grade Oils!
