About Me:
I
was born and raised in Switzerland and remember my mom always giving me one tea
or another for sniffles and coughs. If I had scrapes or bruises, a cream, made
of herbs, was applied. Obviously I was "exposed" to natural healing many years
ago, and I have pretty much used natural products all my life.
As I got older and had my own kids, I continued to administer herbal teas and
natural products on my own kids, to ease pain and discomfort. Natural Remedies
continued to be a big part of my life. My co-workers used to ask me "what do I
take for this?" - "What do you suggest for that?"
As time went on, I got interested into Eastern Medicine, because of the
Philosophy of it. Eastern medicine treats the "cause", which means looking for
what causes the ailment. Western Medicine treats the "symptoms", like giving
medicine to get rid of a headache, but not looking for why the headache is
there. I am not against medicine at all, because some drugs will save and extend
lives.
During my studies of Eastern Medicine I became a certified Shiatsu Therapist and
a Third Level Reiki practitioner. That training and my extensive experience with
essential oil application has benefited my clients for many years. It also
helped me further my knowledge and learn about how the body is supposed to
function and how and why it reacts to certain treatments and applications of
essential oils.
About 10 years ago, I became a distributor for Young Living Essential Oils,
because their oils and supplements are completely chemical free and all natural.
I continued to study all I could find out about essential oils and aromatherapy.
I finally felt ready to fulfill my dream and go forward and create this
website, so I could inform and share all the information I have gathered,
related to Aromatherapy and Essential Oils.
My goal for this site is for it to be as useful, educational and informative as
possible. Some of the information is general and some of it is directly related
to Young Living's line of products.
